With rock 'n' roll legends Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks about to release their new album Hypnotic, fans can now celebrate that the group will be going on a North American tour.

Billboard reported that the group will be heading out on the road to support their album and the tour will kick off in San Diego, CA.

Opening the shows will be special guest Steve Winwood.

The tour will start in early August. The shows will be extending through October and will be making stops at venues around stadiums in United States.

The group played a short tour back in 2013 but this new tour features many more dates and stops around the country.

Rolling Stone added that with every ticket purchased with the tour concert goers will receive a copy of the new album, Hypnotic. The album will be released on July 29th.

Tickets will go on sale for the tour soon and all information regarding sales can be found on the bands official website.
