When the minds at The Onion spot an Internet trend that has become annoying for so many, their only reaction can be a parody of it. Since BuzzFeed, UpWorthy and other sites crowded with click bait, simple headlines have become so successful in recent months, The Onion is creating their own - The Click Hole.

The Click Hole will be launched in June, but The Onion has launched a page that allows you to practice clicking. “Coming this summer: an all-new internet experience filled with content so shareable, snackable, and clickable, it will rob you of all logic and reason,” the site reads. “Until then, use the guide below to learn the proper method of clicking.”

Then, the Onion gives visitors a complete how-to guide on the art of pointing and clicking. There is also a button to click that you can practice with. Click it enough times and the button says “Awesome!”

According to Mashable, The Click Hole was announced at The Onion’s NewsFront presentation. When it launches, it will feature quizzes, listicles, inspiring stories, unbearable cute things and slideshows - all the stuff that the Internet loves today.

Some of the headlines The Onion previewed include “Which pizza should I have for dinner tonight? (presented by Pizza Hut)"; "Seven pricks that defied the odds and didn't go into finance"; and the “Six kinds of hay” slideshow.

The Click Hole will be the latest site from The Onion, which also includes The A.V. Club. A spokesman for the company did tell Mashable that this is real and not a joke. It’s the content on the site that’s all a joke.
