The trailer for Matthew McConaughey’s new movie, Interstellar, has appeared online.
Interstellar follows a group of explorers who use a wormhole to travel farther than humanity has ever been. In the trailer, McConaughey is seen along a country road. Then, we hear the voiceover that says, “We’re not meant to save the world. We’re meant to leave it, and this is the mission we were trained for.”
The movie was directed by Christopher Nolan, who is known for Inception and The Dark Knight. The movie says that we must confront the reality in the solar system. The sci-fi picture is based on the notion that interstellar travel is the “only option left to help humanity,” according to The Verge. The film also stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain. The film was written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan.
Interstellar is presented by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. The trailer will be shown at movie theaters this weekend, according to CNET. The film is set to be released in November.
