The New Orleans Jazz Festival ended this weekend, but not before bands like Arcade Fire, Trombone Shorty, and Carlos Santana could take the stage.

Mayor Mitch Landrieu and festival producer Quint Davis brought Trombone Shorty to the stage, according to The New Orleans Advocate. John Fogerty played the festival this year, as did Carlos Santana. Phish, who also played the festival in 1996, returned. On Saturday night, Dr. John also made his appearance at the Saenger Theatre.

Music, food, and local art kept the festival moving forward. The Festival featured jazz, gospel, Latin, African, and Caribbean music. The 45th New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival featured music on 12 stages. Artists in previous years included Aretha Franklin, Dizzy Gillespie, Linda Ronstadt, and Gladys Knight.

AXS TV’s second Jazz Fest covered Jazz Fest, according to NOLA. The network broadcast musical acts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Jazz Fest was held at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course at 1751 Gentilly Boulevard.
