The car maker, Porsche, has been sued over the crash that killed actor Paul Walker, while he was in the middle of filming Fast & Furious 7.
The widow of the man who was driving the Porsche sports car said that “design flaws in the automobile caused both men to die.” The wrongful death lawsuit was brought about by Kristine M. Rodas. Rodas’ attorney, Mark Geragos, said that he hired the top experts to look at the tragedy, including the wreckage. Roger W. Rodas was driving a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that crashed. They said that the automobile was speeding at 94 mph when the accident occurred, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The lawsuit states, "The Carrera GT was unsafe for its intended use by reason of defects in its manufacture, design, testing, component and constituents, so that it would not safely serve its purpose,” according to the Associated Press.
The lawsuit said that the flaw was the lack of a proper crash cage and safety feature. The lawsuit is seeking damages in an unspecified amount from Porsche Cars North America.
