Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is one of the companies head honchos to question why famous news anchor Katie Couric cannot bring in the big names for interviews. Couric has been apart of both NBC and CBS reporting the news. She is famous for being a co-host on the Today for many years. However her recent troubles of bringing in superstars for quality interviews has been an issue.

After being invited to a company retreat in the Turks and Calcos it was confirmed in April of 2013 Yahoo was attentive in using her services. Declared last November, Couric took her job at Yahoo for an estimated $6 million a year, according to the New York Daily News.

Despite her recent disappointment at her newest job opportunity, it is reported that she might be given a chance to be a co-host again on a show that made her famous the Today show. Reason being because Savannah Guthrie is on maternity leave, reported by the New York Post. This could revitalize Couric on NBC.
