Max Martini, who is known for his role in Pacific Rim and Captain Phillips, has picked his next project. He is currently in talks to be co-starring in Legendary's Spectral.

Variety reported that Nic Mathieu is directing the project that will be distributed by Universal.

The film is being described as a supernatural film that has a similar feel to that of Black Hawk Down. The script was rewritten by John Gatins and George Nolfi. Ian Fried had signed on and wrote the original script.

Martini has been keeping busy since his popular roles in Pacific Rim and Captain Phillips. He recently wrapped production on the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey. Martini stars as Christian Grey's bodyguard in the highly anticipated film.

Martini can also be seen in the upcoming fifth season of USA's Covert Affairs. He will be guest staring on the drama series, The Hollywood Reporter added.

During his time on Covert Affaris he will be playing Nathan Mueller, a former CIA operative who resurfaces after he mysteriously fell off of the grid.
