Fresno, California, police have arrested a 64-year-old man after finding methamphetamine drugs in his car and home at a retirement center.
According to The Fresno Bee, Fresno police sergeant Brian Valles reported that two police officers that were part of the violent crimes impact team stopped Robert Short for a traffic violation. The police then discovered that Short had been charged with selling meth in the past and began to search his car. As they searched they found typical items used for meth sale such as an electronic scales, plastic baggies, and crystal meth.
After finding meth in Short’s vehicle, police searched his home where they discovered $1,700 worth of drugs according to their street values. Among the drugs found were a half a pound of meth, items used in a meth lab, and heroin, The Associated Press noted.
Short has been charged previously with selling meth and was on supervised release. No one from the retirement center knew him personally because he never socialized.
