Alicia Vikander has currently started talks to star opposite Eddie Redmayne in the upcoming The Danish Girl. Vikander is known for her role in A Royal Affair.

Variety reported that the film will be directed by Tom Hooper and Lucinda Coxon will be adapting the script for the screen.
The Danish Girl will be a movie that is based off of David Ebershoff’s novel of the same title. The novel tells the story of a fictionalized retelling of a married couple. Einar and Gerda Wegener were married and then in 1930, Einar decided to undergo surgery and became Lili Elbe.
Vikander is also set to star opposite Michael Fassbender in the Derek Cianfrance adaptation of The Light Between Oceans which will be distributed by Dreamworks, Deadline reported. Cianfrance will also be directing the project.
Vikander has a lot of films coming out over the next year. She can be seen in The Man From U.N.C.L.E by Warner Bros., Testament of Youth, which also stars Kit Harington and Tulip Fever.
