Host of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen is teaming up with Warner Horizon Television to produce the new unscripted series I Slept With a Celebrity.
The half-hour weekly show will be about one-night stands with celebrities. Each episode will feature two guests who kiss and tell about their celebrity hook-ups, according to Deadline. The show will expose the intimate details about the rich and famous, something Cohen, a television celebrity himself, is no beginner at.
NBCUniversal is expected to be the first company to get a look at the series and possibly pick it up as a weekly show, the Examiner stated. Cohen, who resigned from his programming executive position in November, signed a first-look deal with NBCUniversal. After a decade at Bravo, Cohen will still host and executive produce Watch What Happens Live as well as remain a part of The Real Housewives franchise, the Examiner said.
The project, currently in it’s early stages, promises “to deliver the juiciest gossip from people who say they got to experience the glitz and glamour of Hollywood-- and then a whole lot more.”
Cohen is an Emmy-winning executive producer, who won the award in 2010 for his his work as executive producer on Top Chef, also has worked on hit shows like Project Runway, Millionare Matchmaker and The Rachel Zoe Project.
