Apple has a new entry-level iMac coming out and while the new computer is considerably slower, it is $200 cheaper.

The Los Angeles Times reports the new iMac has a 21.5 inch desktop and has a 1.4Ghz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with a 500 GB hard drive. The price point of the desktop will be around $1,099.

The graphics card for the computer also had a downgrade to a Intel HD Graphics 5000.

CNN Money reported the last iMac that was considered to be “low-end” had a 2.7 GHz with a 1,000 GB hard drive. Apple is hoping for a broader audience since the price point is now lower than the previous entry-level iMac.

The new iMac will also contain Wi-Fi, as well as Thunderbold ports so people can make “high-speed, massive data transfers” using any type of media devices such as cameras.

While the iMac is available on the company’s website, it doesn’t come with the new OS X Yosemite operating system, though it can be downloaded for free this upcoming fall.
