One of the most well known singer-songwriter's lyrics are about to go up for auction, and the expected price is nearing $2 million. Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone", one of rock's greatest songs original lyrics are finally going to be sold.

"They are the holy grail of lyrics," Richard Austin said to CNBC."He was very methodical." The rhymes and lyrics went from the original 20 pages he started with to the four that are going up for auction. They are written out on hotel stationary and include many of the artist's doodles and thoughts.

Should the lyrics to this song go for $2 million, it would almost double the record for a rock manuscript, which is currently being held by John Lennon’s "A Day in the Life" which soldfor $1.2 million back in 2010, reported Rolling Stone.

It is going to take an extreme music and Bob Dylan fanatic to put that much money into song lyrics written on hotel stationary, but there is bound to be plenty of those fans in the seats of this auction.
