Four Richmond Foo Fighter fans - Andrew Goldin, Brig White, John McAdorey, and Lucas Krost - decided to crowd fund for a Foo Fighters' concert back in March, and it seems that Dave Grohl and the Fighters have listened to their wishes, dropping a not so subtle hint in a twitter post claiming that the band would see the city soon.

According to Spin.com, Andrew Goldin hosted a Crowdhoster campaign in hopes of bringing Grohl and the Fighters back the city for the first time since 1998. Goldin planned to sell 1,400 tickets at $50 each.

This goal was easily supposed with the help of both passionate Richmond fans and two Richmond businesses - Brown's Volkswagen and Sugar Shack Donuts, who donated 5 thousand dollars each. The campaign was also advertised, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter, by local rock radio station XL102.

While the venue and date of the show has not been announced or reported, Grohl and the Fo Fighters, who have a long history of listening to their fans, will clearly be returning to Dave Grohl's home state for a truly unique event.
