Dr. Dre purchased Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s mansion for $40 million in Brentwood, Los Angeles.

The four-acre estate is located on a country French chateau. The mansion is 14,000 square feet, according to Boston.com. The mansion was designed by Richard Landry and has a moat/koi pond.

Brady bought the property for $11.75 million. The couple lived there for four years, as they created their off-season retreat. Bundchen, 33, is a fashion model who has appeared on some of the most elite magazines, including Vogue Brady has been involved in five Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. He joined the NFL in 2000, and has been chosen as Most Valuable Player.

The property was originally listed at $50 million by real estate agents at Westside Estate Agency. Dr. Dre purchased the property for $40 milllion.

Dr. Dre, 49, is the driving force behind Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics. Beats Electronics entered into an important deal recently when Apple agreed to pay $3 billion to acquire Beats Music and Beats Electronics, according to the Los Angeles Times.
