In Buffalo, New York, hip-hop star Fabolous made a surprise appearance. He shocked Hutchinson Central High School as the celebrity principal for the day. Hutch Tech students were eager to see who their guest principal would be. The whole time Fabolous was planning his work behind the scenes with Hutch Tech Principal Cimato to see what was the best possible way to recognize the school’s top place finish in the Graduate for Más Spring Challenge.
Fabolous had encouraging words for the students in attendance. Known for his hit songs ‘Can’t Let You Go’ and ‘Make Me Better’, his message to the kids was not a typical rap lyric. His words of encouragement were to gain as much knowledge as possible to become a better leader.
“Educate yourself and gain knowledge of everything so you can be a better leader,” said Fabolous, reported by Get Schooled.
The Brooklyn native also performed at Summer Jam recently, which is a rap concert hosted by radio station Hot 97 every year at Met Life Stadium. Fabolous performed with fellow New York City artist 50 Cent to a new song they have together called ‘Cuffin Season Remix’, according to an interview with Angie Martinez on Thisis50. Martinez is a longtime Hot 97 radio personality who announced her retirement.
