Authorities said a Florida teenager allegedly killed his grandmother in her nudist-community home and then took a joyride with the dead woman’s body in the car.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, police were alerted to the crime after a neighbor saw Brandon Machetto dragging what appeared to be a body out of his grandmother’s home. The neighbor then said that they watched as the teen placed the body inside the victim’s Honda Odyssey minivan and drove off.

The 18-year-old was spotted driving around by deputies several hours later, but when they tried to get him to pull over, he refused. Eventually, he led officers back to the home where the alleged crime occurred.

The Associated Press noted that Pasco County sheriff's spokeswoman Melanie Snow said Machetto had been living with his grandmother, 74-year-old Sylvia Schmitt, for weeks and the two fought frequently. Machetto was accused of domestic violence against her in the past, but Schmitt dropped the charge.

The teen has yet to speak with investigators. He has been charged with murder and is being held without bail.
