Authorities said that a woman in central Florida was pulled over and caught with a bag of marijuana, which she scarfed down in the back of the police cruiser.
According to WPLG, an arrest record showed that Tavish Smith was pulled over by officers after driving the wrong way on a major highway and crashing her truck twice. What she did next though really shocked police.
WKMG reported that while in the patrol car, Smith was able to wiggle out of her handcuffs and reach in the front seat to grab a bag of pot that officers took from her vehicle.
She then ate the evidence, but left crumbs everywhere and could not get back into her handcuffs.
When officers questioned her, she denied eating the bag and was arrested.
"Bags of weed just don't go missing inside a police car," said the arresting officer. "And I've got it all on video."
Smith has been suspended from her job where she actually worked as an employee for a Brevard County judge.
