Game made his announcement early this month that he was coming out with a solo album called Blood Money La Familia due for a September promotion, reported by Complex Music.
After hearing the news, 50 Cent made his announcement in an interview with Hot 93.7 that he will be releasing his second independent album of the year Street King Immortal in the same month.
Despite the rappers not getting a long, the history between the multi-platinum selling artists is well documented. At one time these two men were hip-hop giants and collaborating on hit songs together such as Hate it or Love It and How We Do.
50 Cent is no stranger when it comes to releasing an album on the same day as another rapper. He had a famous promotional launch on September 11, 2007, with megastar Kanye West. West won that battle of first week sales.
