Former US President George H.W. Bush is planning on celebrating his 90th birthday by going skydiving.

CBS News reported the former president has made seven previous jumps, with his first one being during World War II and his next in 1997 “for fun.”

Bush will be making the jump with Mike Elliot and other members of the All Veterans Group in Kennebunkport, Maine. His other jumps also came on his previous birthdays, when he turned 80 and 85, as well as on the 10th anniversary of when his presidential library was renovated.

Bush had told his granddaughter that he had “one more left in me” and planned on jumping for his 90th birthday today. His granddaughter, Jenna Bush Hager, announced the news on TODAY.

According to Today, Bush Hager announced the news during an interview with President Barack Obama. The current president spoke of her grandfather, saying, “He is as fine a man as I know, and whenever I see him with you guys, you can tell how beloved he is by his kids and grandkids, and I just want him to know that from the whole Obama family, we wish him all the best.”

USA Today reported the former president also tweeted his plans for the skydive. He had made a promise that he would make this his last jump.
