Universal has snagged the worldwide distribution rights for Ethan and Joel Cohen's next film, Hail Caesar.

George Clooney and Josh Brolin were also cast in the comedic film set in 1950s Hollywood and follows Eddie Mannix, who was a notorious fixer for studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This will be the second film the two actors will have worked on with the directing duo, though separately. Clooney starred in O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Brolin was in No Country for Old Men.

In May, it was reported, that the two brothers were moving forward on the film, but had completely altered the plot. The film was originally set to be about 1920s Hollywood, with Clooney on board then.

Instead they moved ahead 30 years and focused on Mannix, who was the MGM vp and general manager, who was wrapped up in George Reeves' suicide since he was known to be sleeping around with Mannix's wife.

The Coen Brothers are also writing the script for Steven Spielberg's and Tom Hanks' Cold War film, which is currently untitled.
