Google has allegedly offered to purchase music-streaming service Songza for $15 million.

Though $15 million may seem like a small price to pay for a music-streaming service, especially when considering Spotify and Pandora’s values of $4 billion and $5 billion respectively, the company may have offered Songza a much higher sum, reports The New York Post.

However, Songza differs slightly from Pandora and Spotify. Songza runs on playlists curated by music experts that are specifically formulated for certain moods and activities, according to Daily Digest News. The playlists even shift depending on the weather and the time of day.

The six-year streaming service seems to be considering Google’s offer, but other competitors are also seeking to purchase Songza. One of Google’s biggest competitors, Apple, recently acquired Beats Electronics, who also have a streaming music service that is reportedly run by music experts.

Past music industry additions to Google include Google Play Music, Google Music Library and YouTube. The Google Music All Access Pass currently costs $9.99 a month.
