About 27 people were injured, hundreds of homes and building damaged and a local mega car dealer took a very expensive hit from the storm. Nearly 4,500 new cars and trucks were pummeled by this onslaught of falling ice according to Twitchy.com.

This dealership is a division of the Woodhouse Auto Family and included branches from Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler and Ford. Close to $152 million of merchandise was helplessly parked outside throughout the entire storm.

Normal size hail can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage due to small dents and broken glass. Unfortunately this wasn’t normal size hail and some of the cars in Blair are basically totaled via Yahoo. Certain cars are in need of completely new roofs, hoods and fenders – not to mention the broken windows in nearly every vehicle.

There will surely be a big sale in Blair this month as the dealership tries to repair and push 4,500 vehicles. Unfortunately to buy a car with dents can be tricky as insurance companies will refuse to cover any old damages for future accidents.
