MTV reported that the Florida theme park’s Diagon Alley portion of the area will open on July 8. The Hogwarts Express will take them to a new ride called Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. There will also be an appearance from the golden trio themselves, Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
Reuters reports there will be a preview of the attraction at a red carpet event on Wednesday night.
Since Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are built at separate Universal parks, guests will have to buy the two-park pass, which is expensive. However, the Hogwarts Express does connect the two spaces.
The original park opened in 2010 and Diagon Alley will also feature souvenir shops and places to eat.
The Associated Press reported that the ticket for both parks costs $136 for adults and $130 for children.
