“First Love” singer Jennifer Lopez is back on the set list for the World Cup 2014 opening ceremonies in brazil on June 12th.
The Guardianoriginally reported that Jennifer Lopez opted out of her scheduled “We Are One (Ola Ole)” with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte on June 8th, however, People Maazine are now reporting that Lopez is back in and will indeed perform next to Pitbull and Leitte at the opening festivities.
A rep for jenny from the block gave People Magazine details on what’s going on between the “I Luh Ya Papi” singer and the futbol extravaganza. "Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies," they said. “We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics. Any statements to the contrary were premature. Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of futbol. She will be there." They finished.
The news comes just days after the triple threat broke up with longtime boyfriend Casper Smart. Lopez is also set to release her new album A.K.A which features Pitbull, Iggy Azalea, and French Montana.
