Jennifer Lopez has been blazing through the campaign trail with two singles that have been heavily performed on shows like American Idol, 2014 Billboard Music Awards and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Both songs saw visuals released in the form of stunning music videos and she also released teaser music videos for a few of the album’s non-single tracks like “Emotions” and “Booty”. It’s all in the hopes to push her new album, A.K.A, to sales glory. However, it turns out that ‘sales glory’ might not be in the future for A.K.A.
Billboard is reporting that the forecast for the first week sales of JLO’s new album is around 30,000 copies. This will easily give be her lowest first week sales of her career after hitting a career high with JLo( 314,132) and a career low with her last studio album, Love?(83,000).
These sells look tragic but, Jezebel is reporting that he low sales are starting to become a trend. Nothing is set in stone until the numbers are reported next Wednesday.
