Recording Artist Joe Henry releases his new album, Invisible Hour.

A clip for the song, “Sign,” has appeared online. It is a moody clip in black and white that leaves the viewer to consider Henry’s soulful voice without getting lost in the monochromatic images.

“Sign” is from Henry’s 13th solo album. Invisible Hourfeatures recording artists like The Milk Carton Kids and Lisa Hannigan. Henry chooses some unique sounds for the new album, including New Orleans jazz and riffs of clarinet and guitar. On the new album, he considers themes of love and loss. Invisible Hour features about 60 minutes of music, according to the Associated Press. The 11 songs include ballads and quicker tunes.

The first track is called “Sparrow,” and Henry sings words like, “Hey look alive, the end of days, our very blood tastes like honey now,” according to The Globe and the Mail.

Henry has also previously released Blood From Stars and Civilians. He is a recording artist and producer who has worked with Aaron Neville, Billy Bragg, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, and Bonnie Raitt.

Invisible Hour is available in stores on June 3.
