The Kaiser Chiefs were a surprise guests at Glastonbury, the British music festival. Dolly Parton, Arcade Fire, Blondie, and Metallica are among the recording artists playing the music festival.
More than 150,000 ticketholders headed to the 900 acre, outdoor venue on Friday in southwestern England for the music festival, which ends on Sunday.
Some of the weather conditions are proving to be difficult. The Glastonbury mud accumulated on Thursday. Rain began to turn the site into a mudbath, according to Associated Press.
Other bands to take the stage include Rudimental. "Rudimental are a band who are almost ideally suited to this festival," said McCormick, the Telegraph's rock critic, according to The Telegraph. "They were really rocking a crowd in the rain."
Rudimental stopped their set early when lightning struck the stage. They apologized for ending the set early via Twitter.
The festival hasn’t been without some upsetting news. Police reported that a concert-goer had a bad reaction to ketamine, and died on Friday. A 67 year-old-woman died of natural causes.
