Hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar has been on the rise ever since his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City was released to the world in 2012. He has been working extremely hard ever since that point in time to become one of the best rappers in the game. It has been reported Lamar is currently working on a new album, and he says legendary producer Dr. Dre will be apart of the project.

Even though Dr. Dre struck an astonishing deal selling his company for an estimated $3 billion, Lamar says you can never take music away from the icon. No matter how much money he has made, Dr. Dre is all about making music.
"One thing about Dre is you can't take the music away from him. No matter how much money he has, he's always gonna be right there in that studio. That's before the deal, after the deal. He's always locked in there. That's something that I know personally,” said Lamar, confirmed by Kube 93 FM.
If his next upcoming album is as successful as Good Kid, M.A.A.D City was then he should have no problem with making an impact and maintaining his spot as one of hip-hop’s biggest acts. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City debuted at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (and at No. 2 on the Billboard 200) on the Nov. 10, 2012 charts, with 241,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Billboard.
