At a KFC in Jackson, a three-year-old girl was asked to leave because the injuries she sustained from a pit bull attack were scaring the other customers.

The little girl, Victoria, was dining in a restaurant with her grandmother, Kelly Mullins, after a doctor’s appointment. While they were eating, an employee approached them.

“They said, ‘We have to ask you to leave, because her face is disrupting our customers’,” Mullins said, according to New York Daily News. “I wanted to hit the lady.”

Victoria was attacked by three of her grandfather’s pit bulls back in April. The dogs caused extensive damage, breaking the girl’s nose, jaw, cheekbones and right eye socket. The right side of her face is now paralyzed, and she has lost her right eye, reports ABC News.

After the KFC incident, Victoria cried the entire drive home.

“She’s 3 years old and she’s embarrassed about what she looks like,” Mullins said, according to New York Daily News. “She’s embarrassed, and I hate it because she shouldn’t be. It ain’t her fault.”

The restaurant has since apologized and is donating $30,000 toward Victoria’s medical bills.
