‘Applause’ is in order as Lady Gaga signs with the largest management organization in the world, Live Nation. Billboard is reporting that the “Artpop” singer inked the deal as Live Nation prepares to take here to new heights.
The New York Times reported that Lady Gaga and former manager Troy Carter parted ways late last year. She then hired Bobby Campbell, who have worked closely with Gaga and Carter through their partnership, as her new manager.
Gaga and Live Nation are no strangers to each other. Live Nation produced Gaga’s The Monster Ball and Born This Way Ball tours which collectively grossed over $300 million and over 3 million tickets. Gaga is currently on her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour which Live Nation is also producing.
For the past year Gaga has been declining a bit in popularity and sales. Her latest album, Artpop has yet to be certified platinum. However, her album before that, Born This Way went platinum in a week.
Despite her recent career woes, Lady Gaga is still considered to be one of the best selling artist in the past decade.
