Lana Del Rey Wishes She Was Dead Already

One of the biggest names on the music charts these days is Lana Del Rey and it seems everyone is completely ecstatic about her, except her. It seems that Lana Del Rey is already wishing she were dead, even at the young age she is now.

With the recent release of her album Ultraviolence on June 13, many would think that the artist would be on cloud nine, but in a recent interview with The Guardian the singer had different opinions. "I wish I was dead already," Del Rey says."That's just how I feel. If it wasn't that way, then I wouldn't say it. I would be scared if I knew [death] was coming, but …"

With the star being 27 years old it can only be related to the famous member of "the 27 club" like Kurt Kobian and Amy Winehouse.The LA Times said "Del Rey said in the same interview that she didn't enjoy being a pop star and felt she'd been constantly targeted by critics -- though perhaps she's taken that criticism too hard."

We can only hope that nothing comes from these statements and that Lana Del Rey is around for many more years to come.
