LEGO announced on Thursday that there will soon be female scientist minifigures on store shelves. The set will feature female scientists as a chemist, a paleontologist and an astronomer.

The journey for female scientist minifigures has been long. As Scientific American notes, back in 2012, LEGO launched a line aimed at girls called LEGO Friends. Online petitions were sparked with cries of sexism, as the figures were all in stereotypical female roles. Then, in September 2013, they did unveil a female scientist figure.

While that’s a good start, Dr. Ellen Kooijman proposed a full set of three female scientists and submitted it for the LEGO Ideas project, notes TIME. Kooijman said that the set would “show that girls can become anything they want, including a paleontologist or an astronomer.”

Her proposal won the LEGO Ideas Winter contest to become an official set, beating out the Back to the Future DeLorean and a Sherlock set.

The set, which will include all three scientists, could be available as soon as August.
