After a three-day manhunt, the FBI arrested a San Francisco man accused of having explosive materials in his home.
According to CNN, authorities said that Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II was arrested in Crissy Field, near the Golden Gate Bridge on Monday.
Authorities moved in on the suspect after receiving a tip that his car was in the parking lot.
The Associated Press noted that the 42-year-old was arrested without incident and while he was considered armed and dangerous, FBI spokesman Peter Lee said that he did not pose an immediate threat.
"Anyone who has the means, methods and access to make a bomb should be considered armed and dangerous," Lee said prior to the arrest.
Several local media outlets have reported that Chamberlain may be the author of an apparent suicide note to his family and friends posted on social media. However, officials are still investigating the origin of that letter and its contents.
