In the early morning hours of June 8th, the Los Angeles Police Department received a call from the home of actress Sandra Bullock about an intruder inside the home. In a Wednesday court room hearing it was discovered that intruder Joshua James Corbett possessed weapons.
In a recent article about the break in TheCelebrityCafe writer Alina Tichacek covered the basic facts about the break in. Corbett broke into Bullock’s home at approximately 5 a.m. and was in the house for about an hour. It was uncovered that Corbett had an unhealthy obsession with Bullock and as a result a restraining order was filed and he was charged with burglary.
According to the latest report from the L.A. Times Corbett possessed machine guns and other illegal weapons at his home. He faces 19 felony charges, seven counts of possession of a machine gun and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device. If convicted Corbett will face up to 12 years in jail; his bail has been raised from $185,000 to $2 million.
