Maroon 5 releases their new song, ‘Maps’

Maroon 5 premiered their new song, Maps.

Maps is the lead single from Maroon 5’s fifth studio album, V. Previously signed to Reprise Records, Maroon 5’s new album is on Interscope. The band signed to Interscope for their latest effort, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The lead singer for Maroon 5 is Adam Levine, known also as a frontman for the NBC show, The Voice, according to Rolling Stone. This is his sixth season on the popular music competition show. He has also appeared on the tv show, American Horror Story.

Maroon 5’s albums include Songs About Jane, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, Hands All Over. and Overexposed. Previous singles from Maroon 5 include “Moves Like Jagger” and “Daylight.”

Maroon 5 also signed a tour deal with Live Nation. In 2013, Maroon 5 received over $50 million in ticket sales.

Maroon 5 has received three Grammy Awards and three Billboard Music Awards. Maroon 5 became a third most played artist on Top 40 mainstream radio.

V will be released on September 2.
