Oscar nominated actress Martha Hyer has died. She was 89-years-old.

The actress died in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she has lived since 1989. Her death was confirmed by Rivera Funeral Home, the Santa Fe New Mexican reports.

Hyer had several memorable supporting roles throughout the 1950s and 1960s and made her film debut in 1946’s The Locket, notes The Hollywood Reporter. She had a small role in Billy Wilder’s romantic classic Sabrina (1954) with Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holden. The beautiful actress also appeared with Rock Hudson in Battle Hymn, Houseboat with Cary Grant and The Sons of Katie Elder with John Wayne.

She earned her Oscar nomination for her supporting role in the Vincente Minnelli film Some Came Running with Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine. The 1958 film earned five Oscar nominations, but won none.

The Fort Worth, Texas native also took roles in TV Westerns and other classic TV shows. She also penned a memoir in 1990 called Finding My Way.

In 1996, Hyer married legendary producer Hal B. Wallis, who died in 1986.
