The still-untitled rock ‘n’ roll HBO project from Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter and Mick Jagger will be a family affair. The Rolling Stones frontman’s son James has been added to the already huge ensemble cast. James Jagger was one of eight actors to join the cast today alone.

Comedian Andrew Dice Clay, hot off his supporting role in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, will star in the series as Frank “Buck” Rodgers, a drug-fueled radio station owner, reports Deadline. James Jagger will play the lead singer of a punk rock group.

The other six actors to join the series are P.J. Byrne, Joe Caniano, Ato Essandoh, Robert Funaro, Birgitte Sorensen and J.C. Mackenzie, notes The Hollywood Reporter.

They join a huge cast that Scorsese and writer Winter have assembled for the pilot, HBO hasn’t even picked up for series yet. Ray Romano, Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, Max Casella and Jack Quaid are also members of the supporting cast.

Bobby Cannavale plays the lead character in the project, Richi Finestra, a record executive trying to make it out of the 1970s New York music scene alive while resurrecting his music label, American Century Records.

Scorsese is directing the pilot and will executive produce with Jagger. Filming has already started in New York.
