It is time for Harry Potter fans to brush off their cloaks and ready their broomsticks because Universal has announced that their second Harry Potter themed area will open on July 8 of this summer.
This new area of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will double the size of the Harry Potter world within Universal Orlando Resort.
Modeled after Diagon Alley, this area will be connected to the Hogsmeade area of the park, by a Hogwarts train. The Hogsmeade area of the park was originally opened on June 18th 2010 as reported by Variety.
Along with being able to walk through the streets of Diagon Alley, fans will be able to see landmarks from the books, such as The Leaky Cauldron, the Quality Quidditch Supplies store and the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.
Fans will not only be able to see the marble entrance of Gringott’s Bank , but will also be able to see further inside, as they try to escape with a magical object through the banks dark depths in the new area’s biggest ride, reported theHouston Chronicle
The cost for an adult to visit both parts of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for one day is $136 while for children the cost is $130 as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
