Outkast has been around the world playing musical festivals and reuniting fans. Now the group is coming back to their hometown Atlanta for a concert. The band reunited this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band.
The duo, Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and André "3000" Benjamin, will be bringing their world tour home to Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park on Sept. 27. Other performers have yet to be announced, Billboard reported.
Patton released a statement that expressed his excitement to bring their show back to their hometown where everything started for the group. “It's only right that we give the hometown what we've been giving the rest of the world,” he said.
Tickets for the show will be going on sale starting on June 18th 10 AM EST via Ticketmaster.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Outkast most recently played the first day of the Governors Ball music festival along with Phoenix and Jenny Lewis.
