The rap duo, Outkast, will stop in Atlanta for their tour this Summer. The rap duo will play Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Sept. 27.

“It's only right that we give the hometown what we've been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers,” comments Big Boi in a statement, according to Billboard. Andre 3000 also chimed in, "Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you."
According to RollingStone, Big Boi and André 3000 will be performing together. The tour celebrates the 20th year of the band, who originally formed in 1992. The recording artists are originally from East Point, Atlanta. Their albums include Stankonia, Speakerboxx/The Love Below, and Idlewild. They won the Grammy in 2002 for Best Rap Performance for their song, Miss Jackson.
Their tour will continue in Atlanta after a show at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Fest. The tour includes 40 dates throughout the summer.
Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster on June 18 at 10AM.
