Paul McCartney announced that he will be rescheduling shows after becoming ill in Japan.

"I'm sorry but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I'm feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for a few more days," McCartney said in a statement released on Monday, according to Reuters.

The shows were scheduled to happen in Japan and South Korea. His doctors recommended that he change his touring schedule after they found that he had a viral illness. McCartney was brought to the hospital in Tokyo, according to The Guardian.

Fans that are holding tickets for cancelled shows should have no difficulty seeing McCartney’s concert. All tickets will be honored for the new tour dates.

The “Out There” tour will resume in Albany, NY. McCartney will play concerts from June 14-26 in Lubbock, Texas, Dallas; New Orleans; Atlanta; Jacksonville, Florida; and Nashville, Tennessee. McCartney might also play a concert in San Francisco’s Candlestick Park.

McCartney’s 16th album, New, was released in October.
