The rock band were performing their song “Daughter,” when they began singing the chorus to “Let It Go” in the middle of the performance, E! News reported.
Many covers of the song have been done, including by Demi Lovato, who sang the song for the movie’s soundtrack, as well as Idina Menzel. Menzel is the voice actress for Queen Elsa and she obtained a top ten hit thanks to the song.
Rolling Stone reports that Pearl Jam are in the midst of their European tour, which will continue until mid-July when they begin touring in the United States in October. They will join fellow musicians Eminem and Outkast to kick off the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
“Let It Go” won the oscar for Best Original Score in March and has been made into a mash up with the hit television show Game of Thrones as well as being performed using children’s instruments by Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, and Idina Menzel.
