Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to the Game of Thrones set where she met the cast members of the series.
The Associated Press reported the Queen toured the sets, which are located in Belfast, but she did not sit in the famed Iron Throne, which is reserved for the character in the series who will rule the Seven Kingdoms.
The creators of the show, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, escorted the Queen through the sets and she also got to meet some of the cast, including Kit Harrington, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and Rose Leslie.
According to the New York Daily News, the Queen was joined by her husband, Prince Phillip, to see the King’s Landing sets, as well as to view the different props and costumes that are used in the show.
Rose Leslie, who got to visit the Queen, has a distance bloodline relation to the Queen through her Scottish nobility. While the Queen did not actually sit on the Iron Throne, she did reportedly receive a small replica of the famous throne.
Game of Thrones aired its season finale on June 15. The fourth season of the show has reportedly been named the highest rated show in the history of HBO, even surpassing The Sopranos.
