Ringo Starr helped to change music history when he joined the Beatles. The Beatles forever changed rock 'n' roll and their inspiration is still felt on the charts today but almost sixty years after Ringo played with the Beatles he is back on the road and still playing music.
Starr launched a tour with his All Starr Band on Friday. The tour will be going through October and features newly announced dates, USA Today added.
Along with going out on tour Starr is keeping busy with his own art exhibit which will feature his own artwork and he will be starring in an upcoming TV special. The special will be in celebration of his birthday which is on July 7th.
Starr is touring with the same lineup that he put together back in 2012, with only one exception. Warren Ham will be replacing Mark Rivera.
Greece Post added that the tour made a stop on Saturday at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center. The show featured some of the 2014 All-Starrs including; Todd Rundgren, former Mr. Mister lead singer and bassist Richard Page; guitarist Steve Lukather; keyboardist Gregg Rolie and prolific session drummer Gregg Bissonette.
