Robin Thicke has been named as the main headliner at the Illinois State Fair.

Thicke will be performing at the fair which will be taking place on Aug. 17th. State Fair Manager Amy Bliefnick explained that she thinks that fairgoers will be excited to see Thicke perform live and that they will "thoroughly enjoy his highly-energetic show," AP reported.

Fans that are planning on attending the concert will go on sale June 13. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster and from the state fair box office.

Thicke is known for his breakthrough single "Blurred Lines" that took over the charts and was nominated for a few Grammy Awards. He performed "Blurred Lines" during the MTV video music awards with Miley Cyrus which set off a media firestorm. After that performance and intense scrutiny from the press, Thicke and his wife Paula Patton, separated.

It would appear that both privately and publicly Thicke is trying to win back Patton, CNN reported. "Get Her Back" was the first single off Thicke's new album and it is being considered a passionate plea to Patton.
