South Dakota Republican Convention votes to impeach Obama

It is no secret that the GOP has an innate desire to reduce democratic control of the U.S. government. An extreme example of this occurred at the South Dakota State Republican Convention, where on Saturday, June 21st a resolution was passed demanding for the impeachment of President Obama.

As reported by the Argus Leaderthe resolution states that Obama has “violated his oath of office in numerous ways”. Moreover, Representative Allen Unruh who personally sponsored the resolution claims to have “a thick book of impeachable offenses of the President.”
