Three people were shot after a rap show Thursday night at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
According to NBC News, the victims were shot around 10:30 p.m. local time as they sat in a parked SUV just after the Nas, Schoolboy Q and Flying Lotus concert concluded.
The Denver Post reported that Jefferson County Sheriff's Office spokesman Mark Techmeyer said the three victims then fled the scene and were later found by police in Denver. They were each transported to a nearby hospital.
Police shut down Red Rocks following the incident and did not allow anyone in or out of the park while they started their investigation and searched vehicles.
"I'm backstage; we're on lockdown waiting to leave," said Faithon Lucas, the promoter of the concert.
The search continued into Friday morning.
Authorities have said that they do not believe the act was random and that the three victims were in fact targeted.
So far, no suspects have been apprehended and investigators only have a vague description to go on. Anyone with information on the triple shooting is asked to contact police.
