Some people believe that summer starts as soon as school lets out. At the end of the school year pools open, summer cloths come out, and vacation starts. However, the first day of summer isn’t till June 21. Summer is the season of relaxing. No one wants to do anything more than going to a beach and relaxing in the sand or swim in the ocean. Beaches aren’t the same in other seasons. No one wants to swim in an outdoor pool in the fall and who wants to eat ice cream outside in the winter? There are some activities that can be done in all seasons but some are much more fun in the summer time. Spring might bring pretty flowers but the summer can bring other beauties that nature has to offer. Have you ever seen a dark forest lite up by fireflies? The summer is the time for chilling out and getting away but it’s not around long so enjoy as much of it as you can.
