Tracy Morgan’s representative has announced that he is being transferred to a rehabilitation center after showing signs of improvement.

According to E! Morgan’s condition has continued to improve since the New Jersey turnpike car collision that left him with broken ribs and a broken leg. His representative announced Friday that despite continual improvements, Morgan still has a long road to recovery and will be transferred to a rehabilitation center. He and Megan also thanked everyone from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital who has helped provide wonderful care for Morgan.

The car accident caused by Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper, killed James McNair, a comedian friend of Morgan, and two others. Roper was driving 65 mph in a 45mph zone the National Transportation Safety Board reported.
Roper has been faced with auto assault charges that he pleaded not guilty to. He also faces criminal charges on a complaint that he did not sleep for over 24 hours prior to driving, thus breaking New Jersey law. Walmart Inc., however, stated that it believes he followed federal safety regulations, Fox News noted.

Morgan is expected to stay at the center for several weeks. The rehabilitation center name remains disclosed at this time.
