Does it seem like a duo of movie debut every week? This week we have to science fiction action packed movies coming to the United States Friday, June 27, 2014. Those are Transformers: Age of Extinction and Snowpiercer. Transformers has a colorful past. The toy inspired the television show. The late Casey Kasem voiced Cliffjumper and Bluestreak. A toy made Transfromers: Age of Extinsion possible.
Unfortunately, Sam WitWicky (Shia LaBeouf) is not in this movie. He was replaced by Cade Yager (Mark Wahlberg). I wonder how Bumblebee took the news? In fact, most of the original cast is gone. Instead of putting the fate of the world in a teenager's hand, Ehren Kruger gave a devastating secret to a mechanic. I am interested to see how he discovers this secret. Also, will the writers discreetly explain what happened to Sam WitWicky? They didn’t have a problem mentioning Mikaela Banes (Megan Foxx) in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. In Snowpiercer , global warming turns the earth to ice. Most of the world looks like The Day After Tomorrow. Those who boarded the Snowpeircer were delivered from an icy death and placed in a class system. Snowpeircer is an adaptation of Le Transperceneige. It is a french graphic novel. According to The Verge, “It took three decades for one of the darkest, most challenging French comic books ever to be translated into English, but the wait was worth it. Snowpiercer — or Le Transperceneige as it was originally known”. The science fiction post-apocalyptic film was released in South Korea on August 1, 2013 and directed by Bong Joon-ho. The cast is diverse and includes Chris Evans and Ed Harris. Many people are waiting in anticipation of this movie. In fact, Science Fiction Posters dedicated a Facebook event to Snowpiercer’s United States debut. If your stomach is very sensitive, this movie is rated R for violence, language, and drug use. The advantages of being based on a graphic novel is fans of the comic. Since it was released last year, the hype should bring promising sales at the box office. Do not underestimate the power of the fans. How do you think Transformers Age of Extinction got here?
